Opening of Hedmark Alchemical Distillery
On Saturday, February 3rd, the distillery in Løten was officially opened.
The Alchemists welcome the mayor, the business community and the public to the opening party!
The flame burns again
The mayor of Løten was in charge of the official opening. Here she adds spices and herbs to a table ale.

The mayor wrote the following on Facebook after the opening:
- Today was the official opening of Hedmark Alkemiske Destilleri As. I am incredibly proud and happy that Hedmark Alkemiske Destilleri has moved in and started its business, precisely at Norway's most exclusive spirits address. And not least – that it is now being distilled here at Løiten Brenneri again!
A group of four entrepreneurs were gathered from Hedmarken, who share a genuine interest in creating something out of their own ideas and exploring the world of food and drink.

Finally - Løten is making liquor again
The founders and the board of HAD AS were very happy and a little proud when we could finally open the premises to the public. Since the start of the company about 3 years ago, the founders have worked evenings and weekends to achieve this. Now both we, the parishioners of Løten and the people of Hedmark, can be delighted that there will once again be experimentation and the making of spirits in the "cradle of aquavit".
